Public Housing Experience
Community Capital has significant public housing experience and expertise working with public housing agencies such as the Memphis Housing Authority. We have worked closely with local, regional and national officials with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We provide public housing officials and their staff with day-to-day assistance to implement and develop financing structures for large housing initiatives and programs. We have been actively involved with several HOPE VI housing initiatives, which as many know, are changing the face of public housing across the country. Additionally, we have successfully structured and drafted applications for HUD’s Capital Financing Fund Program which allows PHA’s to securitize their capital funds using long term debt.
